Annual Meeting

We meet as a requirement of our bylaws, which states that we are to conduct a meeting of our members at least annually. Our Association’s annual meeting/membership drive is held in October at the Catalina Verdugo Adobe. This confluence of Woodlanders has expanded to include a catered meal for members, updates on community concerns and achievements, and a 50/50 drawing. The newsletter announcing this event is sent to the 1,100+ households in the Woodlands. This is an opportunity to stay informed, connect with your neighbors, and at the same time have a grand time! We never fail to increase our membership at this event.

Wine Tasting

This has become an anticipated annual gathering for Woodland adults who have enjoyed a variety of wines while meeting friends from the neighborhood. Traditionally held in June in a member’s backyard. A delicious array of appetizers are provided by Board members – and from anyone else who offers!

Informative and Fun Events

We host a variety of events, from City Candidate Forums to Anthaeus Theatre nights, to bring people together from all across the Verdugo Woodlands West to socialize and discuss issues that affect our community. We look forward to being able to hold gatherings again as soon as the pandemic has passed.
